Cancer Insurance?
June 7, 2006 by bob.
Q. I am considering buying a policy from Aflac. Is this a good idea?
A. At one time supplemental coverage was considered superflous but not any more. When a medical crisis hits but biggest need, second only to major medical, is for CASH.
Many of the newer supp plans now pay a lump sum CASH benefit on first diagnosis. Most are relatively easy to qualify for and are affordable for most. A single sum benefit for $10,000 is available for as little as $4 per month.
In addition to these CASH benefit plans it is a good idea to have adequate disability and long term CASH coverage.
